My Dream Holiday...

Well, I remember telling myself when I was younger, that when I grow up I would travel the world, but now, having to be lucky enough to travel to a few countries, I realize that it is not where you are or where you are going, what is actually more important is who you are with and who you are going with. So if finance is not a problem and if I had all the money in the world than my dream holiday would be a year long sabbatical in Europe. However, I will not be alone, well, not all the time as I would bring a different companion, to each different country I go to.

My first stop would be France, and in France, my companion would be a close friend of mine(whose dream is to go France), and my elder brother. Since my elder brother can speak French, it would be slightly easier travelling around. I can imagine us backpacking throughout Paris to Marseille, from city to city to the wine country where we would enjoy the peace and the food. Furthermore, with so much sites, so many people to see, it is a good thing that photography is a hobby I share with my brother. We would probably go trigger-happy, snapping anything we could in sight.

The Eiffel Tower, one of the sites we would visit in France...

Notre Dame Cathedral, what an architectural inspiration...

My next stop would be Italy, this time, my companion would be my other brother. My older brother always wanted to go to Italy because he is a huge fan of their national soccer team. Italy famous for their fashion, architectural buildings, arts and monuments, but what I really admire is their style of cooking. I mean, they use the simplest of ingredients to whip up gourmet dishes with a rustic yet elegant feel. With places like Milan, Venice and Florence, the beauty of sites in endless. Maybe we could even watch a real soccer match at the San Siro stadium where we can shout our lungs out supporting the stars of AC Milan, but making sure we do not offend any supporters if not we would probably get the guts kicked out of us. With so much to see in Italy, I would spend about three months there and I still don't think I would be satisfied but the show must go on.

Michelangelo's Statue of David, the epiphany of sculptures in history...

To wrap things up, I would also explore, Switzerland to get to see the wonders of watch-making. In addition, I also would go to Belgium to see their expertise in chcolate making. Germany for the cars, and auto-design. I would my, last stop would be England. Roaming through London to Manchester, enjoying the sights and maybe even see some soccer hooligans in action. :)
